For Healthcare Facilities & Workforce Planning

How does MedPro support hospitals and health systems with staffing needs?
MedPro delivers flexible staffing solutions tailored to your census and acuity. We provide experienced domestic travelers (nursing and allied), internationally educated clinicians, and full managed services (MSP). Our approach combines dedicated account management, rigorous credentialing and clinical quality support, and a technology platform that streamlines orders, onboarding, scheduling, and reporting.

Does MedPro offer cloud-based tools or dashboards for healthcare organizations?
Yes. SureStaff is our cloud-based enterprise platform that provides VMS capabilities, real-time visibility into open orders and assignments, credential and compliance tracking, and configurable dashboards and reports so leaders can make faster, data-driven decisions.

What workforce planning and management support does MedPro provide?
We offer a customized, data-driven MSP paired with planning tools in SureStaff. Services include labor-market insights and pay benchmarking, utilization and overtime tracking, credential and compliance management, and analytics to forecast demand and optimize your mix of staff. Our team partners with you to refine processes, consolidate vendors when appropriate, and improve fill, quality, and cost outcomes.

How can MedPro help our organization address ongoing nurse shortages effectively?
We stabilize your staffing through a balanced pipeline: domestic travelers for immediate coverage, a year-round international program to build sustainable capacity, and an MSP framework that standardizes workflows and spend. The result is reduced reliance on last-minute premium shifts, improved retention, and smoother start-date planning aligned to your clinical needs.

Technology & Integrations

What technology does MedPro use to manage staffing, assignments, and schedules?
MedPro uses two core solutions: SureStaff, our cloud-based workforce platform with VMS functionality, dashboards, reporting, and credential/compliance tracking for client teams; and MPX+, a clinician-facing web/mobile experience that centralizes job search, applications, credentials, onboarding tasks, and assignment details.

Can MedPro integrate with our existing VMS/HRIS/scheduling systems?
Yes. MedPro’s technology stack integrates with common HR, finance, procurement, and facility timekeeping/scheduling systems. We scope integrations during onboarding to align data fields and cadence, and support options such as API-based connections and secure file exchange to streamline orders, time/attendance, and credential updates.

Quality, Credentialing & Safety

How does MedPro ensure clinicians are qualified and meet our facility’s standards?
MedPro follows a rigorous, multi-step credentialing process designed to meet or exceed facility, state, and federal requirements. We verify active licensure and required certifications for the state(s) of practice, confirm education and employment history, conduct background checks and drug screening where applicable, and assess clinical competency. Credentials are continuously monitored for expirations and updates throughout the assignment to help keep your compliance current.

How does MedPro ensure a safe and supportive work environment, including for foreign clinicians?
We partner with healthcare facilities that maintain robust workplace standards and provide clinicians with pre-start orientation, clear assignment expectations, and access to MedPro support throughout the contract. For internationally educated clinicians, we offer guidance on relocation, cultural adaptation, and professional integration, along with ongoing check-ins after start. Workplace safety policies are set by each facility; we encourage prompt reporting of any concerns so our team can work with you and the facility to address issues quickly.

International Nurses & Immigration

How do we hire international nurses with MedPro?
We start with a discovery conversation to define your clinical needs and timelines. MedPro then presents vetted candidates, coordinates interviews, and facilitates offers. Once selections are made, we initiate immigration case preparation and sponsorship where eligible, while planning onboarding, relocation logistics, and start dates. After arrival, we stay engaged with onboarding and post-start support to promote long-term success.

Are MedPro’s international nurses qualified to work in the U.S.?
International nurses we place are required to meet U.S. professional and legal standards, which typically include passing the NCLEX-RN, meeting English-language proficiency requirements where applicable, obtaining appropriate state licensure, and satisfying all facility-specific onboarding and competency requirements. Immigration authorization is secured prior to U.S. employment start.

What is the visa sponsorship process and timeline for international nurses?
Eligible pathways can include employment-based immigrant visas (e.g., EB-3) and, in some cases, other employment visas. Processing steps generally involve petition filing, credential evaluation, consular processing (or adjustment of status where applicable), and licensing coordination. Timelines vary based on visa category, country of chargeability, priority date movement, and government processing/consular availability.

Are international nurses taking U.S. nurses’ jobs?
Our international placements are intended to complement—not replace—your existing workforce. Hospitals and health systems primarily use internationally educated clinicians to fill persistent vacancies and maintain safe staffing when local recruitment alone cannot meet demand. The focus is on safeguarding patient access to care and stabilizing teams, not displacing U.S. nurses.

How could changes to visa categories or quotas affect the supply of international nurses?
Policy shifts that reduce visa availability, slow processing, or create backlogs can constrain the near-term supply of international nurses. Conversely, actions that increase visa numbers or improve processing efficiency can expand availability. MedPro monitors immigration developments closely and will advise clients on anticipated impacts to talent pipelines and start-date planning.
